Introduction Questions Asked By 404 Daily Crypto Team
Can you introduce yourself and your team please? We want get to know you and your team. What you did before crypto, and how you got into crypto?
We are happy to be here. I am c0ntrol zer0, the main dev of this project and with me, is the entire Moonshot founding team. Our team is loosely connected; A lot of people are involved now, from all over the world. Just recently, we added 3 developers and 1 product advisor to our team. We count the most active members of our community also as team members as we share and discuss ideas with our Moderator group in telegram too. Everyone is welcome and we try to enable everyone to do what they to best.
My own personal background is in agile software development and the first time I was introduced to the crypto space was in was back in 2013–2014. The past years I have worked for a NASDAQ noted company and have been involved in a lot of interesting products and projects alike. In our team, everyone lives and breathes crypto and most of us have been active full time in this space since 2017.
Q1. Can you briefly describe what is MoonShot? We would like to know more about it and how it works?
Moonshot is a deflationary, self-regenerating automatic liquidity providing protocol that pays out-static rewards to holders. The Moonshot protocol takes a 10% fee on every transaction. 4% of each transaction is distributed among Moonshot holders. This increases the incentive to hold the tokens in the wallet. 6% of each transaction is automatically added to the liquidity pool. This contributes to lower volatility and a continuously increasing price floor. In principle, it follows the popular trend of the recent influx of meme tokens. We have chosen these tokenomics to facilitate our Moonshot platform.
Q2. How was the idea to create this project born? It is very interesting. What do you want to achieve? What are your expectations?
The idea to enter the space with a project of our own dates back to 2017 already. We have been discussing ideas off-and-on for years but never found the perfect combination of factors and people for a competitive push into this market. Now we have. What we want to achieve is for Moonshot to become a top 100 project in this space. Our expectation is that we can do this, together with our community.
Q3. How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?
We never could have imagined the level of success we had the past 3 weeks. Just 24 days after launch we are at 46k holders and a ~45M market cap. It has been a real rollercoaster this far. The experience and background of each team member perfectly connect and we have an amazing working vibe. We are highly motivated and our background in various fields give us the needed experience to deal with this changing market. We work in an agile manner, goal-oriented, focussed, and committed. We are constantly working on improving transparency, not just for us but also for the community. This allows us to inspect and adapt and work on an empirical basis.
Q4. Can you give an overview of $MOONSHOT Token tokenomics?
Will the design of the token rise and fall with the success of the platform, does it include any scarce paths, such as equity, storage, or burning?
The Moonshot Token is deflationary; As our burn address in the list of holders, tokens are burned at every transaction. Next to this, we also have manual burns to celebrate completing milestones with our community. The Moonshot Token is the facilitator of our upcoming NFT platform, MoonBoxes. Our MoonBoxes concept is an LBO; On our platform, you can open these virtual boxes that contain NFTs. These NFTs are specifically designed for our project by highly skilled artists. We release these NFTs in episodes. Our first episode is described in detail in our Moonpaper. You will be able to redeem rare Moonboxes for Moonshots too, as there will be prize pool mechanics with all this. Next to this, we have plans to add gamification using arcade-style NFTs where you can fly your own NFT spaceship and we have ideas to add a lottery too for the risk-takers among us.
Q5. Could you please provide some progress on your Roadmap and what results from MoonShot has achieved so far? And any sneak-peek into 2021 plans for MoonShot?
There are no “sneak peaks”, we are not working in secret. Of course, a lot is happening behind the scenes but we try to be as transparent as possible. Every week, we have a recurring weekly summary and an AMA where we elaborate on what has been happening. We share what is being prototyped and we are eager to learn how the community receives our results. This way, we can collect valuable feedback and continuously improve on our product in weekly iterations. One of our accomplishments, for the Moonshot token, is that we have been listed on CMC already, before CG. Our BitMart listing is coming up next. Recently we have opened a merchandise shop where you can buy Moonshot branded products and we are currently listed on the P2PB2B exchange.
Q6. What is the plan MoonShot to ensure sufficient liquidity on exchanges to fill market orders, especially as adoption increases and clients begin multiplying year-over-year?
This is a question about the budget and revenue model of Moonshot. For now, we depend on our investors and our community to provide us with the liquidity needed; for both Exchanges and for Marketing. Once our platform is incrementally rolled out on the market, we will have a revenue flow that should be more than sufficient. Given our tokenomics, we have fallback options as well.

Currently, most investors are only concerned with current profits but ignore long-term gains. So can you give them some advice why they should buy and hold this token / coin in the long term?
We have a lot of things coming in the coming months and our tokenomics provide an incentive; As you hold your tokens, you gain rewards proportionally to your balance as others transact in the network.

Are you planning to undertake token repurchases in the future to further create token scarcity and thus increase its value?
We have no plans to repurchase tokens from the market for this purpose. The token scarcity is part of our tokenomics as the token is deflationary in nature.

We know BSC is famous for being very fast, simple, cheap in cost. But we know that using the Binance Smart Chain is a lot of rug-pull and high-risk projects. What do you say to the community, How do you get them to really believe in this project, is there a reason for this?
We want to be the most transparent project on the BSC. Our LP tokens that are added to the Deployer address when people transact are regularly locked for 3 years from the time of locking. This is published on our website as well. We are communicative and use a grass-root approach to involve our community as much as we can in every step of development. We burn the Moonshot tokens that are left in the Deployer wallet to celebrate our joint achievements.

The community is very important to our project, as we are a community-driven project. We work very closely with our community and our community plays a very important part in the success of Moonshot and they have done very well so far. NFT is considered to be the next crypto industry trend after DeFi. Can you share your opinion on the NFT? Where do you see the future evolution of NFT’s features and capabilities in the coming years?
We are convinced that NFTs are just about to enter the mainstream in the coming years and when done right, they can be or become very valuable. We think that there will be a lot more use-cases than only the Artworks themselves. For example, you could give access to certain events when owning an NFT or maybe you can even sell your Home, your Car, or any other property that you own — as an NFT.

If we can identify a way to do this transparently, we will consider charity funds as well.

Yes, we already had an Audit by Solidity.Finance and we plan on having more audits in the future. This is also required to get listed on more established Exchanges.

We have several Telegram channels in different languages. We are expanding in every direction on this.
